3 Days/2 Nights Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) Desert
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
We will pick you up from your (hotel/riad/bus station/airport ). Then we will start our journey from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages. Then we continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch at Ait benhaddou or Ouarzazate where you’ll visit Kasbah Taourirt and the atlas studios, then we continue to Dades gorges though Roses and Dades valley, we will spend the night in a riad/hotel in the Dades.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night in the desert)
After breakfast, we will go from the Dades valley to Erg chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tinghir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to a Hotel to relax a few minutes. your luggage will be taken by camp staff, then we will ride the camels on an adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset. When we reach the camp we will leave the camels and we will walk to the sand dunes to watch the sunset, we will spend the night in a camp with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Merzouga – Atlas mountains – Back to Marrakech
We will wake you up early in the morning to watch the sunrise on the dunes, then after breakfast, we will start our journey back to Marrakech trough different areas and different Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob) until Ouarzazate where we will take the same road back to Marrakech and arrive in the evening.
